Students of all ages
are welcome to log on to The Reconstructors, an interactive, learning
adventure. As you travel through a futuristic world, you will help
unravel the mystery behind the sudden increase of severe medical
emergencies among the teenage population of Neuropolis.
The Reconstructors®
is a
problem-based adventure game engaging the player in the role of
scientist, historian, geographer, and detective. There are several
consecutive episodes, each with its own learning objectives. The
knowledge gained from each episode will help you make better, more
informed, health choices when it comes to avoiding drugs of abuse.
This project
was developed by The Center for Technology in Teaching and Learning at Rice University with funding from the National
Institute on Drug Abuse and complements the NIDA
Goes to School materials. For more information about the project and the collaborators, check out our About the Project section.
